Walk This Way: The Path to Safety
An International Women’s Day Community Education & Awareness Gala
More than a gala.
What does it actually take for a woman experiencing violence to reach safety?
Walk This Way is an immersive community education and awareness experience presented in a gala setting. Using fictional, composite circumstances—not survivors’ personal stories—guests explore how housing, transportation, childcare, legal services, income, health care and other systems can intersect on the path to safety.
The evening brings community agencies, businesses, funders, leaders and residents into the same conversation about barriers, collaboration and how stronger connections can support women and children.
