Community Outreach Services

Let us meet you where you’re at.

Community Outreach Services are available to women experiencing violence or abuse within the community.

A client does not need to be a resident of Green Haven Shelter for Women to connect with our services and programs. Our Community Outreach Team meets with self-identifying women experiencing violence one on one or in group environments and in a safe location.

Individual Support

Our Outreach department offers individual sessions where we have access to Psychodrama, Psychodramatic Bodywork, and/or New Decision Therapy™ to take our clients from victims to survivors to thrivers.

Some support for the children and youth of our Outreach clients upon request.

This service is available to women involved in the Family Law legal process. We offer our clients court accompaniment and support with legal appointments.

It doesn’t matter how rich or poor a person is, what gender or social class, or how much fame or education she possesses.

Verbal, mental, and physical abuse can happen to anyone. It doesn’t matter what a woman’s ethnicity is because the only distinguishing colour of abuse is black-and-blue.
