Monetary Donations

Green Haven Shelter for Women is a community-based, non-profit, charitable organization. Your financial contribution is essential for us to continue providing critical support services for abused women and their children in the Orillia area. Your gift helps abused women and children receive counselling, crisis intervention, and safe refuge while enabling them to make the difficult transition from abuse to independence.

A Reading of Charles Dicken’s: A Christmas Carol

“I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year”

We are so thrilled to announce a new event in support of Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie and Green Haven Shelter for Women: A Reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in Support of Local Women.

Join us on December 16th at 7PM at St. Paul’s Centre in Orillia for a cozy evening of readings, music, and hot beverages and treats, with all proceeds going to the services that our two charities provide.

We are especially excited to welcome Orillia’s new mayor, Don McIsaac, as one of the readers!
